Discover the Buddha in You!
Would you like to discover where the Buddha resides precisely within you?
Do you genuinely want to find peace
of mind?
Then, the upcoming Silence Weekend, "Discover the Buddha in You," is an absolute must. This is a silent retreat with meditation, yoga, breath and dance.
You are welcome to set and affirm your intentions for 2025 this weekend from January 3rd to 5th.
This long weekend retreat revolves around what everyone longs for Peace of Mind.
The essence of Gwenda's and Dhyan's teachings is that silence is always present as the background of silence alongside any unrest.
The common thread is observing what is, without resistance or without getting involved in it.
We use meditation, dance, breath, and yoga to help you go deeper and relax more deeply into yourself.
After dinner on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, we will remain silent until the closing circle on Sunday afternoon, January 5th.
This way, you can be close to yourself and remember who you are.
Like in a natural silence retreat, we invite you to turn off your phone and provide our phone numbers to your family.
This allows everyone to take some me-time with peace of mind.

Dhyan Meinoud Rijnen has been meditating for over twenty years.
After a few years of intensive Goenka Vipassana practice in India, he primarily evolved towards Ramana Maharishi's 'Self-Inquiry' meditation.
He spent many months in Maharishi's ashram. Lately, he has also been primarily practising Bonpo Dzogchen.
Over the years, he has participated in various mindfulness trainings and courses.
His record includes an extensive list of retreats in different countries.
Every year, he conducts his silent retreat. In 2018, he spent 5.5 months in a silent retreats in India, Mexico and Guatamala
Dhyan is a master of pranayama and meditation. And a very 'zen' person.
Gwenda vander Steenen has been practising yoga since 1996 and completed two teacher training courses, one in London and one in Thailand.
Yoga, for her, is 'meditation in motion.' We move from primarily from a 'doing yoga' to a 'being yoga' mode.
Conscious movement leads us to experience silence, the space in which movements arise.
Yoga is a meditation that operates through the body. After all, your body is always in the present moment. 'We don't do yoga, we let yoga happen and observe everything we experience in our body, mind, and emotions'.
Mindfulness (she prefers to call it 'mindlessness') and Zen philosophy are interwoven into the classes. www.nectaroflife.be
